Women Rights and Somali Culture

av: Integrations-TV Programlängd: 0:06:05
An intellectual talk between two Somali writers Abdi-Noor Mohamed and Abdulkadir Maah about Women rights and culture. The program has been recorded in the Horn Afrik Radio premises in 2004 by the late Somali journalist Said Tahlil who was later shot dead by Alshabaab militia. It is hard to speak openly about women rights in a country devastated by civil war and religious extremism but sometimes it is worth taking the risk to speak up.
